We know it’s not been long since our last post, but there is some news that we would like to share with you and it deserves a post all of its own.
As much as we have enjoyed our time here at Wakefield Country Courtyard these past 5 and half years, it’s now time for us to be moving on.
During July Vitreus Art will be re-locating to The Bell Plantation, Towcester – so it really is just a short hop of 6.5 miles down up road.
It has been great here at Wakefield – we’ve made many new friends and created lots of lovely artwork for some lovely clients, but we need a different kind of location.
If you haven’t visited the Bell Plantation before, you’ll find plenty to enjoy – a great cafe, farm shop, garden centre, vintage and collectable homewares, the famous poultry centre and much more.
Bell is located on the A5 just north of Towcester, right by the junction with the A43.
You can check out what’s going on at Bell here:
If you are booked on to one of our workshops up and until the 19th July, these classes will all be held at Wakefield Country Courtyard.
From Friday 24th July, all workshops will take place at Vitreus Art at The Bell Plantation, Watling Street, Towcester, NN12 6GX.
We will of course send reminders nearer the time of your workshop with a reminder of the new location address as well as emailing all students individually with more info.
We’ll be transferring the gallery side of our place over the next few weeks so forgive us if things look a bit untidy at Wakefield for now. If there’s something particular you’d like to see, let us know so we can make sure it’s on show where you can enjoy it!
We will be closed for all visitors during the week of July 20th-26th (with the exception of workshops on the 24th & 26th) for the heavy lifting. We’ll still be keeping on top of emails of course.
We’ll be back in touch soon with info about new workshops, new artists and more.
Thanks for reading and we hope to see you at The Bell Plantation when we open!
Mike & Jenny
P.S. We will be running some launch events and taster days to welcome you to our new place later on, when we all feel more like gathering in groups.
We’re also planning to take part in the Macmillan Coffee Morning event in September – look out for details soon.
