Scented Candle Making - try your hand at making your own candles with these half-day classes for beginners.
This workshop introduces you to the fun of candle making with an end-product you can enjoy at home, and possibly a new hobby.
Scented candles make great presents!
You'll be using a Coconut-soy wax blend (environmentally friendly and cleaner to use than parafin wax), cosmetics-grade scents and cotton candle wicks.
The class runs for 2-1/2 hours approx.
Led by Tanya Russo, an experienced candle maker and fragrance mixer, these mini workshops are fun, with a beautiful-smelling candle plus your own candle work of art to collect after a few hours drying time.
On each session you'll create a delightful scented votive candle and decorate a second taper candle using clean burning acrylic paints - all in one session!
Choose from a range of high-quality natural scents to make your own individual candle.
All Tanya's materials are not tested on animals, vegan-friendly and paraben-free.
The class is suitable for all levels, especially beginners.
The course cost of £75 inc person includes:
- Coconut & soy wax blend, lead-free cotton wicks, glass votive candle holder and cosmetic-grade scents all included
- Acrylic paints and additional tall taper candle to decorate
- Use of tools and apron
- Refreshments during the class
- Maximum class size 6 people
- All your candles to take home
- This class runs at the times shown below at our Northants studio just outside Towcester

About Tanya Russo
Tanya began exploring the world of scents as an aid to well-being during Covid lockdowns of 2020. Since then she has established her business, Heart & Soul Candles, and opened a shop full of beautiful fragrances and candles to buy. Tanya's workshops are like candle parties - fun and lighthearted.
