In this new class, experienced painter and art teacher Clare Tebboth will introduce you to the wonderful world of acrylic paints.
Suitable for beginners and painters used to working in other media.

Want to get started painting in acrylics?
Well - this workshop will teach you all you need to get started!
You will learn which basic materials you will need and discover the brushes and paint types you can use.
The workshop will also review the different surfaces you can paint on.
We will spend some time exploring colour mixing and paint application.
You will complete several tester pieces and will end up with a completed still life painting.

Class strictly limited to 6 places to ensure plenty of attention
Acrylic paints and paper supplied
Refreshments are included
Class runs from 10am to 1pm (aoprox) at Vitreus Art's Northants studio near Towcester

Please bring some reasonable quality acrylics brushes if you have them - or you can borrow some from Clare.

This class is led by Clare Tebboth - a professional artist and qualified teacher.
Clare works in a variety of mediums in her own studio and teaches a number of highly-rated art classes at Vitreus Art.

About Clare Tebboth

Clare works frequently in acrylics; her expressive style making use of both brushes and (when working in oils) palette knives. She enjoys the richness of acrylic paint and the vibrant finish it gives to paintings.
Having grown up in Norfolk and enjoying frequent childhood trips to windswept beaches, her work is often based around the sea and the special mood that a wintry beach creates..

Clare has more than 20 years experience in the classroom teaching and has earned a reputation for fun and stimulating adult art workshops. Clare welcomes commissions and enjoys working with clients to create unique pieces of artwork.

She is a Member of the Society of All Artists and Chair of Buckingham Art for All.
