Fun with Fusing - Choose Your Make Half-day Class

Creating beautiful glass forms with texture, for beginners and those with some glass fusing experience with a choice of makes.
On this exciting flexible workshop you'll learn how to create beautiful, textured fused glass art, combining glass chunks, glass frit, crushed glass, enamel pens, dots and stringers. No glass cutting is required on this half-day session. You can choose what to make when you arrive!
Choose to make:
- Four 10cm tall mini tealights or draped tealights
- Two 15cm tall luxury tealights with classy wooden bases
- Two 15cm wide hearts with holes at the top for hanging
- A 20cm wide square or round bowl
- A 24cm long freestanding S-Bend
If time allows, you can choose to make an additional small project for a fixed price - £13 for a tealight or £15 for a heart.
This is a great introduction to basic fusing - and you'll make pieces you're sure to love displaying at home!
You can design the decoration of your own pieces, or take inspiration from the examples in the gallery.
The starting point for all of the projects on this class is a base layer of COE 90 clear fusible glass. We'll teach you how to use the frits, noodles, enamel pens and crushed coloured glass to create your designs.
This workshop is perfect for beginners but more experienced fusers will enjoy trying the different projects on offer.
The course cost of £89 inc VAT per person includes:
- Choice of five different projects to create
- Fusible glass sheet for the basis of your project - cut to shape in advance
- Clear and coloured fusible glass frit, enamel pens and stringers to make your project
- Use of all tools and apron
- Refreshments during the session including herbal teas, decaffeinated drinks & gluten-free biscuits
- Maximum class size 6 people for individual attention
- All kiln firings
- All your work to keep, after all firings are complete
- Class runs from the times shown below at our Northants studio near Towcester
- Additional projcts available at a small extra cost on the day
